These qualities are extremely difficult to measure. Integrity is all about honesty and rectitude whereas resilience is the quality of standing up again after a setback has thrown you down. Now, the big task is to connect these admirable qualities to that of a quiet leader.

In the research done over the past twenty years, it was shown that being an extrovert was a significant factor in scoring someone an executive post. It was calculated by Russell Reynolds Associates that loud words like passion, influence, charisma were used three times more often than those describing quieter characteristics.

But the study was also able to point out that there was a strong correlation between integrity and resilience and quiet characteristics. Executives having quiet leadership are more thoughtful of their actions and decisions. They don’t put their needs ahead of their teammates or subordinates. They are mindful of someone else’s suggestions and genuinely consider their opinions. These qualities are laudable and admirable.

It is powerful in its effectiveness. As the world is changing, people are also changing day by day in their actions and opinions. People are more willing to work if the environment is calm and at ease. The company will flourish more if people working there come together and work as a whole.

They combine their ideas and their suggestions towards a common goal, that is the success and growth of the company or any agency. Quiet leadership is what this world needs at this very moment. A quiet leader will be able to achieve these goals. Loud characteristics are not to be undermined in any capacity but for the next decade, the selection of people for the executive positions will be a difficult task. Loud and quiet characteristics should be given their due considerations for the required position.

But if you are looking for integrity and resilience, then a quiet leader is perfect in all ways. He will admit when he’s at fault because he’s not afraid of showing his vulnerability publicly. The next generation of leaders will have a newfound respect and appreciation for these qualities. They will be able to find the right balance between loud and quiet qualities to find a perfect state that will bring them ultimate success.
