Josh Richards and Dave Portnoy Start New Podcast Titled BFFs

Sway House TikToker Josh Richards and Barstool Sports’ self-dubbed “Presidente,” Dave Portnoy, have launched a digital broadcast.

The podcast will be a weekly series, called BFFs. Which will highlight the two personalities in discussion “about everything from overwhelming TikTok in L.A. to running a media realm in NYC,” according to the podcast’s description.

Richards, who’s 18, and Portnoy, who’s 43, spend their first episode which drops today as the most recent addition to Barstool’s podcast network—acquainting themselves with what they depict as each other’s “fiercely unique” audience.

“I don’t regularly do podcasts with anybody outside of Barstool, so I’m eager to work with Josh,” Portnoy said in an announcement. “The TikTok crowd is another crowd for us: They may adore me; they may loathe me. Ought to be an intriguing ride.”

As these two mega personalities join forces together it sure will be interesting to listen to their power dynamic conversations. As they both will be able to bring a wide variety of experience and entertainment along with their massive following on their respective platforms.

But let’s also get to know them a little better.

Josh Richards

If you don’t have the foggiest idea who Josh Richards is, simply ask the closest Gen-Zer. At 18, Richards is a bonafide TikTok hotshot, with more than 20 million followers! on the video-sharing application (far more than Kylie Jenner’s 14.1 million for the context) and more than 1 billion views on his posts. Which are generally of himself dancing and lip-syncing to various different melodies.

While he lets it be known took “a great deal of work” initially to arrive at this kind of online media achievement. He says he has now arrived at a spot where he just goes through 30 minutes daily shooting content with the assistance of his supervisory group.

Richards says he made six figures by marking an account contract. (He posted unique content, similar to his viral rap “Still Softish” on YouTube.) As for TikTok, Richards declined to state how much cash he makes. Yet Talentxent, the firm that Richards co-owns and that represents him and other online media stars. They say influencers can make “somewhere in the range of $5,000 to $20,000 per post” on the platform. Contingent upon the size of their following.

Gaining such a great amount of popularity through TikTok the young star Josh Richards will now embark on a podcast with Dave Portnoy. Which is going to be another interesting chapter from the young man’s career so far.

Dave Portnoy, the frank and outspoken founder of Barstool Sports. David Portnoy is an American sports media figure and web business visionary who has total assets of $120 million. Portnoy has earned his fortune as the originator of computerized sports aggregate Barstool Sports.

David Portnoy was conceived on March 22, 1977. He moved on from the University of Michigan in 1999 with a degree in training. After school, he moved to Boston where he worked for an IT statistical surveying organization. He established Barstool Sports in 2003 as a print distribution for the Boston metro area. The paper offered dream sports predictions, gaming promotions, and sports inclusion. The site was launched in 2007. Throughout the following 10 years, Barstool would develop into an improbable sports media force to be reckoned with. In the site’s initial days Portnoy was known to routinely place in 10+ hour days. While still working Saturdays and Sundays.

When dedication, huge fan following, and two mega personalities of different age groups collide it creates a blasting podcast. You can be certain that it is going to be a great venture. Most of all the podcast will be represented by Barstool.
